The Doom Troopers were founded in 1986 by Russ Breeden a legend in paintball.  We take great pride in being one of the longest
tenured paintball teams in the entire world! We started off as a small team that made a huge impact.  The Doom Troopers were
featured in several news paper articles and magazines which in turn promoted our growth. As a result, our name grew quickly.  

Our team has yielded some of the most notorious names in paintball such as Chris LaSoya, Steve Hammond, Matt Zeyn, Russ
Breedin, and many others. We fully expect to yield more notable names in the future whether it be from tournament play or scenario.
Our roster consists of some players who play tournament, some players who play scenario, and some players who do both. We
feel that this makes us an unpredictable force and coincidentally creates massive exposure for anyone who decides to support us.

We attend many events with a full roster and work together as a fine tuned machine.  We pride ourselves in stand up ball and
sportsmanship even on the tournament side which is unusual in the world of tournament play. We have been credited with many
sportsmanship awards in our time and honor these awards among our highest achievements. We have also been awarded
countless awards based on our skill and ability along the way.  

The Doom Troopers have been recognized as innovators of the sport on several occasions. We introduced the "Nerf" round rocket
which was first fired from our recently retired "Howitzer". At one time we were one of the most formidable "tankers" in the sport with
cutting edge equipment such as "The Doom Buggy", "Thor", and "Ogre". Our founder (Russ Breeden) was credited with innovative
gun modifications under the name RKB Engineering which is believed to be the backbone of technology still prevalent in the sport
today.

What we would like everyone to know is that we are not only a team, but a tight knit family, as we mostly recruit based on character
and honor.  Our motto is that we can build a good player but, we can't build a good person. We just happen to be PRETTY DAMN
GOOD AT BUILDING THE PLAYER AS WELL!!
Most importantly we have a blast running together and taking out every obstacle in our way.
